Malpractice Cases in NJ and NY

Our attorneys have handled numerous wrongful death actions arising from medical malpractice and other types of accidents (e.g., motor vehicle accidents, construction site accidents).  The firm has experience in representing individuals in medical malpractice actions who have suffered an adverse drug reaction, allergic reaction and/or anaphylactic reaction to medication. 

In one such recent malpractice case in Ocean County, NJ, our client developed drug induced pulmonary edema when her internist and cardiologist ignored a known allergy to sulfa medication, which tragically resulted in her death. 

In a cardiology malpractice case, our young client was diagnosed with acute pancreatitis and given a combination of drugs that resulted in a condition known as rhabdomyolysis (muscle breakdown), and this client also tragically died. 

Another client walked into an emergency treatment center while suffering an asthma attack and because the facility was not properly staffed, she was not timely treated and the attack resulted in her untimely death. 

In another malpractice action (Monmouth County, NJ) against a neurosurgeon, our young client, who had suffered an aneurysm, died after the surgeon failed to relieve her intracranial pressure, which led to the AVM rupturing (uncal herniation).
