Mr. Gilbert received his Bachelor of Finance from Adelphi University, and his law degree from St. John's University School of Law, where he was a member of the Bankruptcy Law Review.

Mr. Gilbert is admitted to practice before the bar of the States of New York, as well as the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
